Pakistan to Begin Gas Pipeline from Iranian Border to Gwadar, pakistan has approved the construction of its eagerly anticipated gas pipeline, deciding to start the project gradually, the first phase focuses on laying 81 km of pipeline from Gwadar, with future plans to extend it to Nawabshah,

Approved by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the effort aims to meet energy needs and support economic development, Funding channels, including the Gas Infrastructure Development Levy council (GIDC), are being activated to fund this initiative.

Collaborative efforts with Iran are underway to meet project deadlines and overcome potential obstacles, in an effort to promote cooperation, the Petroleum Department under the leadership of SIFC  is coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate the visit of the Iranian delegation to discuss strategic plans.
