Over the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts light rain in some areas, but overall the long dry winter will persist.

A cold snap is expected in some areas as rain is forecast in the south.PMD chief Irfan Virk said dry and cold weather would continue this week with a low chance of significant rain.Balochistan is likely to experience light rain in the next 24 hours and dense fog is likely over Punjab, KPK, upper Sindh and Islamabad.

The daily forecast shows mostly cold and dry weather, with very cold weather in northern  and northern areas of Balochistan. Dense fog and mist is expected in some specific areas, while drizzle is likely over southwestern Balochistan and Makran coasts.

The past 24 hours have been marked by cold and dry weather across the country, with rain in Dalbandin (08 mm) and lowest temperatures recorded in various regions. Stay informed and exercise caution as fog and dense fog  persist in many areas.
